On our website, you will find information about the process of searching, applying, and securing an internship training position. You will also find information about activities occurring statewide, regionally, and nationally in psychology education, practice, and advocacy.

CAPIC encourages Doctoral Programs, Predoctoral Internship Programs/Agencies, and Postdoctoral Fellowship Programs/Agencies to join CAPIC as Program Members. Click on the type of your program for instructions for applying for CAPIC membership. Note that students register for online access but not for membership. See below.

STUDENT REGISTRATION TO ACCESS INTERNSHIP PROFILES

NOTE: All students must register annually on the CAPIC website. All currently registered students will be removed from the CAPIC system on September 15th, AND no previously existing registration or application info will be available. To obtain access to the current CAPIC online internship database and the online application process, students must register with CAPIC on or after September 17th.

Students from non-CAPIC member schools are not eligible to Register nor to participate in the CAPIC match process.

March 29 (12 noon): Clearinghouse begins

CAPIC/MHSA Intern Stipend Program

Applications for Year 5 (2012 – 2013) stipends open on Jan 22, 2013.
Applications will close on April 5, 2013.

MHSA Online Modules

The CAPIC Online Training Modules are available for use. These modules are central to working with clients in the CA public mental health system.

These online modules are approved for Continuing Education (CE) credits for CA-licensed Mental Health Clinicians. They are also a required component of the CAPIC/MHSA Intern Stipend Program. Click here for more info on these modules.
