- Half-Time Internships: Only interns who are matched for the 2024-2025 training year for their first half-time internship will be able to participate in the 2025-2026 training year match, which will occur in the Spring of 2025, for their second half-time internship.
- IMPORTANT: The 2025-2026 Match is ONLY OPEN to students needing to obtain a second part-time internship to complete their internship requirement. NO NEW (first-time) STUDENTS can participate in this match.
-
- If students and sites that completed a first-year part-time internship (2024-2025) would like to remain together for the 2025-2026 year, you do not have to participate in the formal match process in the Spring of 2025.
- Training sites need to send one email confirming the student’s continued placement for 2025-2026 training year. Recipients of this email must include the student, the school’s DCT (Director of Clinical Training), and the CAPIC Board at execdirector@capic.net.
- Any training sites participating in the 2025-2026 training year MUST conclude their training year by August 30, 2026, without exception.
- If students and sites that completed a first-year part-time internship (2024-2025) would like to remain together for the 2025-2026 year, you do not have to participate in the formal match process in the Spring of 2025.
- Post-doctoral Training: Full-time and part-time post-doctoral positions may continue to be filled, provided the fellowship concludes by August 30, 2026, without exception.
- The CAPIC office will remain active in support of the final interns/post-doctoral fellows concluding their training year through September 30, 2026.
- The CAPIC website will remain active through December 31, 2031. The information on the site will NOT BE updated. Rather the site will remain active for informational purposes only (e.g., to confirm the former existence of CAPIC).
- Any students seeking confirmation of a previous internship should contact their respective academic institutions or agencies.
- Any students seeking confirmation of a previous post-doctoral fellowship should contact the respective agencies.
Confirmation of CAPIC placements remains the responsibility of the training site. We strongly encourage sites to provide interns and postdoctoral fellows with two original copies of documents confirming their participation in the training program (including verification of SPE hours and certificate of completion).
CAPIC will be unable to confirm previous agency members, as the organization will no longer be active.
