Dr. Marcos Briano, Ph.D./MMFT (he/him/el), received his B.A./B.S. in Psychology/Kinesiology, Master of Marriage & Family Therapy from University of Southern California, and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Multicultural Community-Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. Dr. Briano is part of the clinical team at Pasadena City College, where he completed his CAPIC internship. He currently teaches as an adjunct faculty member with the Rossier School of Education MFT & USC Physical Education programs and California Lutheran University Bachelor’s Degree for Professional. His clinical experiences span from K-12 schools and universities to community centers to acute psychiatric hospital within diverse and multicultural settings. His research/academic interests include advocacy for LGBTQ+ & Ally communities, social justice, qualitative research, application of professional ethics, and intersectionality with an emphasis in Spanish Latinx speaking communities. He is currently a board member for CAPIC, California Community College Mental Health & Wellness Association, and ECP member of LACPA’s Ethics Committee. He enjoys teaching golf at USC and group exercise classes at local gyms.
