SUMMARY:2016 Match: Post-Clearinghouse
DESCRIPTION:CAPIC Post-Clearinghouse is open and runs indefinitely.\n\n\n\nStarting with Post-Clearinghouse\, there is no application fee for new participants.  Otherwise\, the procedures for Post-Clearinghouse are the same as Clearinghouse.  \n\nInternships who have not filled all their positions in the online match are automatically entered into Post-Clearinghouse.\n\nThe CAPIC Office has updated internship program EAP’s to reflect this status.\nInternships then update their EAPs themselves\, as appropriate\, as they fill positions and/or end seeking interns.\nAfter September 15th\, the CAPIC office posts a list of internships still seeking interns for the Fall.\n\n\nIn Post-Clearinghouse\, students reach out to internships to obtain an internship position (via phone\, email or a submitted application). \n\nStudents must still register with CAPIC\, but ranking and matching is no longer done online.\nBefore September 15th\, must still submit applications via the CAPIC website.  Even though students may have previously submitted applications\, these are the standard procedures\, including Clearinghouse and Post-Clearinghouse.  Previously created application materials may be used for Clearinghouse.\nAfter September 15th\, students complete application materials manually and submit them (with their DCT’s support) to internships of interest.\n\n\n\n\nInternships then directly arrange offers and acceptances with students in Clearinghouse.\n\nThe student’s DCT must be consulted before any offers are accepted to ensure the internship meets its requirements.\nPlease inform the CAPIC office when matches are formed.\n\n\n\nFor more details\, visit the Post-Clearinghouse page on the CAPIC website.
